EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
As Administrative Officer 1 for the Washington County Assistance Office, you will have the overall responsibility for administrative functions and budgetary administration.
This includes overseeing two district offices located 25 miles apart.
You will be in charge of managing the clerical staff and ensuring efficient and effective operations for the Washington County Assistance Office.
Reporting directly to the Executive Director, your duties will involve planning, controlling, directing, organizing, and coordinating all clerical operations.
You will also be responsible for developing and implementing procedures to optimize staff utilization and workflow.
Additionally, you will supervise the entire clerical staff, including training, work assignments, assessments, equal employment opportunities, and disciplinary actions.
Your role will also involve directly overseeing clerical supervisors and handling administrative functions, which will require regular meetings to discuss workflow, staff changes, and address any specific concerns.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employmentWork hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
May change based on operational needs.
Travel and overtime as neededWORK CONDITIONS: Assigned duties are performed in a controlled office environment.
In Counties with District Offices, employees may be reassigned to different work sites due to operational needs.
Reassignments will be made in compliance with contract language.
