Offered for sale is this 1950's "Entertainment Cart.
" This type of cart was the predecessor to today's entertainment centers.
This cart was used to hold the family record player.
The lower level of the cart has wire slats for the purpose of holding the record albums.
In later years, after television was invented, the cart could be used to hold a small black & white tv.
The cart is made of a light metal, with plastic wheels.
The two end pieces on the top slide in order to adjust the width.
The cart is in pretty good shape, with a few rust spots.
The plastic wheels have a couple of spots where paint from the floor rubbed off on them.
Not only a historic relic from the past, the cart still has the functionality to be useful today.
