Assistant Teacher

Creative Learning Childcare & Preschool is seeking a full time Assistant Teacher.
The Assistant Teacher is responsible for supervision of an assigned group of children.
Responsibilities include assisting with planning activities, supervising children, ensuring children’s safety and managing classroom environments.
The position of the Assistant Teacher requires the person to be flexible and cooperative.
The Assistant Teacher will also have to be flexible and willing to work with various age groups.
Availability must also be flexible, as hours can vary.
Qualifications: The person selected for the position must meet the minimum requirements set by the state of Ohio.
Must be a high school graduate or have a GED.
This person must be willing to take workshops in Child Care Basics.
This person must have a warm and friendly personality, be sensitive to the feelings and needs of others, be able to relate well to children, and be willing to fulfill responsibilities in accordance with our philosophy.
She/he must display emotional maturity and stability, and must be willing to take training in the field of early childhood education.
