Child Care Worker

Youth Services is currently seeking a part-time Child Care Worker to join our team.
This position will work at our Elm Grove after-school program 5 days a week: Before Care - 6:45 am to 9:00 am (M-F) After Care – 3:30 am to 5:30 pm (M-F) *Childcare Worker Responsibilities:* * Interact, monitor, facilitate and assist elementary aged-children on an individual and group bases.
* Instructs children in activities designed to promote their social, physical and intellectual growth.
* Instruct and assist children with personal cleanliness, hygiene and self-care.
* Provide snacks and assist with keeping the rooms well maintained and clean.
* Willing to abide by State regulations and have good interpersonal communication skills with a diverse group of people.
* Maintain client files and all required documentation.
* Attain and maintain certification as required.
This position does not work when there is no school.
*Qualifications:* * High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor or Associate degree in child development/social services/education or related field preferred.
* Previous experience with target population required.
* *Valid Driver's License required.
* * Good documentation and oral communication skills required.
