Wheeling Park Day Camp Counselor

SUMMARY Assist day camp director in the operations of the day camp.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Organizes specific games for own group, actively participates in games.
Watches pool for crowd control.
Assists children with crafts.
Prepares and follows lesson plans.
Supervises water slide.
Encourages harmony among children.
Participates in all special days on calendar of events.
Walks children to car.
Interact with the public with a cheerful and positive attitude, solve guest problems and complaints in a proper manner, and maintain harmonious working relationships with fellow employees.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
