Job Description 1 Seeking 3 Quality Review Specialists for our flagship titanium aerospace mill in Toronto, Ohio! Quality Review Specialist Summary The Quality Review Specialist is responsible for product review, as well as assuring products and processes meet required customer and internal quality standards and requirements, prior to certification.
Essential Functions Review of the travelers for material that has completed processing to ensure all requirements have been met prior to releasing material to Certifications.
Review travelers for material in process to ensure defects are dispositioned appropriately.
Documentation of any non-conformances found during production of material via TIMET Quality Information System (STAR) and electronic Non-Standard Event System (NSE).
Copy test to the correct orders and release orders in STAR.
Support Department shipments, on-time delivery, and past dues, as required.
Attend department daily meetings.
Identify and highlight any product review quality related issues.
Additional Responsibilities Support Operations, Metallurgy, Lab, Continuous Improvement, and Logistics on any related efforts/training.
Continuous focus on yield and yield improvement initiatives.
Provide instructions to OSC for material sent out for outside processing.
Create material deviations and/or customer offers as required.
Maintain First Time Pass (FTP) database Qualifications Competencies Excellent written and verbal communication skills, assertive personality, strong organizational skills, proficient with multi-tasking priorities.
Eagerness to work in a fast paced, team oriented, quality oriented, results driven company.
Ability to manage high workloads.
Self driven.
Education and Experience Preferred four-year Bachelor's degree, Science or Engineering related field, and preferred 5 years minimum Quality Assurance related experience in an industrial metals manufacturing environment.
Good understanding of customer quality requirements as related to aerospace industry and to specialty metals manufacturing is preferred.
Special Skills Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
Requires excellent computer skills and easily adaptable to different computer software systems.
