Do you want to work with us today to build a better tomorrow? Role Description As an Industrial Engineer focused on Operations Sustaining at Form Energy, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our existing production processes, material flow, and people flow.
Your primary objective will be to drive cost reductions and increase operational efficiency in our ongoing activities.
This opportunity is based out of Form Energy's Eighty Four, PA facility.
Relocation assistance is available.
What you'll do: Utilize CAD software to develop and implement design changes that enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Collaborate with manufacturing, operations, material handling and warehousing teams to ensure seamless integration of line optimization strategies.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory management, reduce waste, and enhance material flow efficiency.
Design and implement solutions to enhance the overall movement of people within the production environment, considering safety and efficiency.
Develop and implement strategies to reduce operational costs while maintaining or improving product quality.
Utilize line balance modeling techniques to achieve optimal resource allocation and minimize production bottlenecks.
Maintain detailed documentation of optimization initiatives, changes made, and their impact on operations.
What you'll bring: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in operations sustaining within an industrial setting.
Proficiency in CAD software for designing and implementing changes to production lines.
Strong background in utilizing Spaghetti diagrams and line balance modeling techniques.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and collaboration abilities with cross-functional teams.
Ability to drive and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Strong project management skills.
