*RESPONSIBILITIES*:
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in all aspects of managing a finance and accounting team, including but not limited to general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, payroll, sales tax liabilities, accruals and possess the skills necessary to develop insights and well developed analysis, creating value to the operation, senior management and ownership.
* Assists the CFO in directing the accounting functions of the company, including establishing and maintaining accounting principles, practices, policies, procedures, and strong internal controls.
* Consistently triages and oversees requests from other depts and strives for timely responses to support the operation, develops an understanding of the ERP system and the data flow with the system.
* Manages month end reporting and the control checks needed for the ERP system
* Works with operational management to educate them on policies and procedures and understanding their financial results
* Supervises and participates in all aspects of the day to day finance and accounting function for the company
* Assists with analysis and reviews of the company's financial performance by collecting, analyzing and reporting financial and statistical data.
* Prepares periodic performance reviews for office staff as well as supporting in their development for future growth.
Looks for training opportunities and supports cross training in key functions.
* Assists the CFO as required, including representing the finance team as needed at month-end and other management meetings and reviews.

* Oversees and supports year end financial statement audit, as well as tax and insurance audits
* Performs other duties as assigned by management
*REQUIREMENTS (Skills, Technology, and Physical Requirements)*
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA preferred
* 4+ years demonstrated accounting experience in a multi-store (17+ stores), regional business environment (operating in 12+ states) or 2-4 years in public accounting
* Valid driver’s license and meet company insurance requirements
* Strong computer skills
* Proficient in MS Office and Google platform
* Analytical mindset, experience using SQL, Tableau, and Crystal Reports a plus.
* Strong aptitude for creating spreadsheets and reports in MS Excel.
* Competent in accounting and financial practices, procedures and internal controls.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
* Has a passion for teamwork and honors integrity in the financial reporting process.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.
00 - $110,000.
