The Opportunity:
The Department of Organismal Biology, Ecology and Zoo Science at West Liberty University is seeking a Postdoctoral fellowship/ Assistant Professor of Biology with expertise in either Astacology or Herpetology.
Expertise in turtle biology, herpetoculture, and herpetological field conservation is preferred.
The successful applicant will assist with constructing aquaculture laboratories focused on in-situ conservation efforts including rearing and breeding crayfish and turtles, and have opportunities to lead student- based turtle and crayfish projects.
The successful candidate will also be expected to teach biological, ecological, and conservation based courses to both undergraduate and graduate students.
