Admissions Event Coordinator

The Opportunity: West Liberty University is seeking applications for an Admissions Event Coordinator.
The Admissions Event Coordinator position is responsible for aiding in the recruitment of students for West Liberty University through the campus visitation program.
This position will facilitate, coordinate, and provide complete oversight for all aspects of the campus visit experience for students, parents, and group visits.
This position is responsible for hiring and managing students in the ambassador program.
Essential Functions of the position: Coordinates personalized student and student group events, tours, and campus visits.
Supervises the WLU Student Ambassador program.
Plans, coordinates, and participates in all Admission events.
Utilizes the CRM system to track event participation, as well as drive ongoing communication and upcoming event information and registration details.
Assists with day-to-day operations of the Admissions department as needed.
Education & Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
At least 1 year of working experience in a related field is required.
Skills/Abilities: Recruiting and/or marketing experience preferred Knowledge of Higher Education and Admissions preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Database/CRM, Banner experience preferred Ability to work evening and weekend events as necessary, required Why you should apply: West Liberty University offers generous benefits, including approximately 2 days of annual leave (vacation) per month and 12-13 paid holidays.
