The Opportunity:
West Liberty University is seeking applications for two Nursing faculty members.
The nationally accredited Nursing Program is a traditional four-year baccalaureate program which includes tracks for registered nurses pursuing a bachelor’s degree and an accelerated program for those with a four-year college degree.
This position is for a 9-month, full-time.
Faculty position with teaching responsibilities related to classroom and clinical instruction, all specialties will be considered.
Education & Experience Requirements:
Requirements include recent clinical experience in the specialty area, an MSN degree with academic preparation in the specialty area, and an unencumbered license as a registered professional nurse in the State of WV or eligibility for this license.
Teaching experience and a doctoral degree in nursing or progress toward a doctorate in nursing are preferred.
The successful candidate must have excellent skills in anticipating and implementing curricular change and the ability to work collaboratively in teams.
A faculty member is expected to participate in continuous improvement in the areas of teaching, professional development, and service to the University and community.
Salary will be commensurate with experience.
